This four-piece edit combines warm neutral texture with two different treatments of rich Amber velvet.

The Honey cushion introduces a softly textured neutral fabric, framed with rich Ochre velvet piping for subtle definition. 

The Pearl cushion provides the lightest element within the arrangement. Its soft off-white fabric has a subtle textured finish and is edged with Amber velvet piping, linking it beautifully to the warmer cushions in the set. 

The first Amber cushion is finished with a neat 2cm cuff, giving the smooth golden velvet a clean, tailored character.

The second Amber cushion repeats the same warm golden tone but introduces a softer decorative finish with gold fringe. Using the same colour in two different treatments gives the set cohesion while preventing the arrangement from feeling too uniform.

The maker specifies all four cushions at 50 × 50cm. Each cushion is handmade and includes its own feather insert; synthetic inserts are available on request

This is a particularly good edit for a larger neutral sofa where you want a fuller arrangement without introducing lots of different colours.

Rather than grouping the two Amber cushions together, separate them across the sofa so the golden tone runs through the arrangement. Place Honey and Pearl between them to soften the colour and create a more balanced, naturally layered look.

Because all four cushions are the same size, avoid lining them up evenly. Instead, create two loose pairs and overlap them slightly, allowing the different trims and textures to provide the variation.

The palette works beautifully with cream, oatmeal, stone, warm greige and taupe upholstery, while oak, walnut, antique brass and warm natural stone complement the golden undertones.
