A beautifully layered five-cushion edit designed to bring warmth, texture and balance to a larger or corner sofa.

Combining soft cream bouclé, rich Carnelian velvet and earthy Citrine, the arrangement mixes three generous 50cm cushions with two smaller lumbar cushions to create the relaxed variation in scale that makes a sofa feel naturally styled rather than overly matched.

The warm palette adds depth without feeling overpowering, while bouclé, velvet, woven texture and tailored detailing give the collection a rich, considered finish.

Designed especially for larger seating, this five-piece edit works beautifully on a corner or chaise-style sofa and is shown by the maker on a sofa approximately 3 metres wide.

Three 50cm cushions create the foundations of the arrangement, while two 30 × 50cm lumbars add variation and prevent the styling from feeling too uniform.

Beautifully tailored

Velvet bands, cuff detailing and piping bring definition to the softer textures for a more polished finish.

This five-piece edit combines contrasting textures and shapes to create a warm, layered arrangement.

The cream bouclé cushion provides the lightest element of the palette, finished with a wide 4cm Carnelian velvet band that connects it beautifully to the deeper cushions in the set.

The Carnelian square cushion introduces a rich brown-orange upholstery velvet, finished with a tailored 2.5cm Oxford-style cuff.

The Citrine square adds pattern and texture, while the two smaller Carnelian and Citrine lumbar cushions repeat the colours at a different scale.

This edit has been designed with a corner or larger sofa in mind.

Rather than placing all five cushions in one continuous row, divide them into two loose groups. At one end, use two of the 50cm cushions as anchors with a lumbar slightly forward; at the other, layer the remaining square cushion with the second lumbar.

That asymmetry keeps the arrangement relaxed and leaves the sofa feeling inviting rather than overcrowded.

The combination works particularly well against cream, oatmeal, stone, taupe and warm grey upholstery, while walnut, oak and antique brass bring out the richness of the Carnelian and Citrine tones.
